MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

1. Membership: Any individual desiring to become a member of the Houston West Bass Wranglers must have the following qualifications:

1. Age: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
2. Sponsorship: Be sponsored by at least one current member in good standing of the Houston West Bass Wranglers.
3. Attend Meeting: Attend one regular monthly meeting of the membership.
4. Fish: Fish one official tournament of the membership with a current member of the Club (preferably with someone other than your sponsor). If accepted into the Club, weight for this tournament will count toward year-end standings.
5. Approval: Be approved as a member by majority vote of the Executive Committee.

Upon satisfaction of items a. through e. immediately above, such individual shall become a member at any regular meeting of the membership by majority vote of the members then present and voting.

2. Dues: Dues are currently $110.00 per year and must be paid prior to March 1 with a check or money order (not cash). There is a $20.00 yearly fee for members on leave of absence. Persons becoming a Club member during the calendar year are assessed pro-rated dues based on the months remaining in the year.

3. Club Shirt, Patch, and Hat: Each member, promptly upon joining the Club, is encouraged to purchase at least one official shirt and one official hat of the Houston West Bass Wranglers contingent upon the availability of these items.
